A deposit specifically designed for women who are above the age of 18. To take care of and to addresses the banking and saving needs of women clients to play an essential part in every woman’s life

• Can be opened with zero balance;
• Depositors shall be expected to sign and confirm the sources of their deposits are from permissible business activities in the account opening form;
• ATM card shall be issued free of charge;
• The limit on ATM withdrawal will be ETB 15,000;
• Segregated customer service areas for women& service by women staff of the Bank. This will be applied to IFB dedicated branches.
• A purchase discount of 3% with institutions and merchants with which the BoA has made an agreement (e.g. Hospitals, supermarkets, beauty salons, etc.) shall be arranged
• Minimal IFB service charge on IFB financings(less by 0.5%-1% from the average financing/loan service charge)
• In an event of giving birth to a child by the holder of the Women Saving Deposit account holder, the Bank shall arrange a gift certificate of ETB 500, when the deposit amount reaches Birr 25,000.
• The Bank shall provide a uniquely designed IFB deposit passbook;
• Priority treatment at counters. No queues;
• There shall be no monthly maintenance fee;
